Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Java BE/Apache Flink. This role focuses on leveraging data to drive insights and support fact-driven decision-making.

You will be instrumental in building and managing a robust, scalable, and secure Apache Flink platform across AWS and Google Cloud. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive architectural excellence and operational efficiency for our streaming data platform, enabling self-service capabilities and cloud-native deployments.

Design, construct, and maintain a highly available and scalable Apache Flink platform across AWS and Google Cloud environments. Drive architectural decisions and ensure operational excellence for the organization's streaming data platform. Implement self-service capabilities, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native deployments. Collaborate closely with application development teams to deliver resilient, production-grade streaming infrastructure. Ensure the security, reliability, and optimal performance of the streaming data platform.

Possess 3-6 years of experience with Apache Flink, Java, Spring Boot, and infrastructure management. Demonstrated expertise in setting up, scaling, and managing Apache Flink clusters natively on cloud resource managers. Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or Google Cloud (GCP). Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (e.g., Amazon EKS, Google GKE). Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and/or Ansible for managing distributed data systems. Strong architectural skills focused on building fault-tolerant and resilient platform foundations. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
