Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Mainframe Database Manager in Bengaluru. This role focuses on driving database modernization and migration from Mainframe DB2 to DB2 LUW on AWS cloud as part of the Mainframe Exit program. You will be instrumental in leveraging vast amounts of data to provide strategic guidance and implementation services, enabling fact-driven decision-making and generating an insight-driven advantage.

Lead the design and execution of DB2 Mainframe to DB2 LUW/AWS cloud database migrations and modernization initiatives.

Drive critical aspects of the migration, including DDL conversion, data migration strategies, robust security implementation, and performance optimization.

Define and establish high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and resiliency strategies for cloud-based databases.

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and streamline operational processes.

Collaborate closely with the Mainframe Exit core team, AWS, and implementation partners to ensure seamless project delivery. Drive technical decision-making and foster effective collaboration across global, multi-level stakeholders.

We are seeking a skilled DB2 DBA/Architect with proven expertise in both Mainframe DB2 z/OS and DB2 LUW on AWS. A solid understanding of AWS database and cloud architecture is essential.

Significant experience in large-scale database migration and modernization projects is required. You should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.

Preferred qualifications include any degree such as B.E., B.Tech, MCA, MBA, MS, or PGDM.
