Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Manager specializing in DB2 Mainframe Modernization. This role is pivotal in unlocking the value within vast data landscapes, guiding companies in managing data from diverse sources and transforming it into actionable insights. We focus on business intelligence, data management, performance management, and cutting-edge analytics technologies like big data, cloud, and AI.

This position offers a flexible band based on your expertise and focuses on migrating databases from Mainframe environments to AWS Cloud. You'll be instrumental in our Mainframe Exit program, driving critical database modernization initiatives.

Lead and execute the migration and modernization of DB2 Mainframe databases to DB2 LUW on AWS Cloud. You will drive DDL conversion and enhancements, oversee data migration, and ensure robust security and performance optimization for cloud databases.

Define strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and overall resiliency. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with the Mainframe Exit core team, AWS, and implementation partners, while making key technical decisions and fostering effective global stakeholder communication.

We are seeking a DB2 DBA/Architect with extensive experience in both Mainframe DB2 and DB2 LUW on AWS. A strong understanding of AWS database and cloud architecture is essential, alongside proven experience in large-scale database migration and modernization projects.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and global collaboration skills are required. Preferred qualifications include any graduate degree such as B.E., B.Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, MS, or PGDM.
