Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Manager specializing in DB2 Database Administration and Mainframe Modernization. This role is pivotal in our global network, focusing on unlocking data value through strategic guidance and implementation services. You will work with a diverse range of data management, business intelligence, and next-generation analytics technologies.

This position is ideal for an experienced DB2 DBA/Architect passionate about driving mainframe modernization initiatives within the Mainframe Exit program. Your expertise will be crucial in migrating from Mainframe DB2 environments to DB2 LUW on AWS Cloud.

Lead and execute comprehensive DB2 Mainframe to DB2 LUW/AWS cloud database migration and modernization projects. This includes driving DDL conversion, data migration strategies, and ensuring robust security and performance optimization.

Define high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for cloud-based databases. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and enhanced operational efficiency.

Collaborate closely with the Mainframe Exit core team, AWS, and implementation partners to ensure seamless project delivery. Drive critical technical decisions and foster effective collaboration across global, multi-level stakeholders.

We are seeking a DB2 DBA/Architect with extensive hands-on experience in both Mainframe DB2 z/OS and DB2 LUW environments. A solid understanding of AWS database and cloud architecture is essential for success in this role.

Demonstrated experience in large-scale database migration and modernization projects is required. You should possess strong communication, stakeholder management, and global collaboration skills to effectively navigate complex project landscapes.

Preferred qualifications include a degree in B.E., B.Tech, MCA, MBA, MS, or PGDM. The role is based in Bengaluru and operates on a hybrid work model.
