This Senior Consultant role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot. You will be instrumental in creating and integrating RESTful APIs, working with databases, and optimizing application performance. Collaboration and a keen eye for code quality are essential in this dynamic team environment.

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and services, leveraging Java and Spring Boot.

Create and consume RESTful APIs, seamlessly integrating backend services with databases and external systems.

Participate actively in code reviews, identify and troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize application performance and code quality.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, review processes, and test generation.

A strong foundation in Java backend development with 6-8 years of experience is required.

Proficiency in Java, Core Java, object-oriented programming principles, and Java 8+ features is essential.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Spring Boot, the Spring Framework, and microservices architecture is a must.

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, along with working knowledge of JSON and HTTP protocols, is expected.

A solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and query optimization, with basic exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is necessary.

Familiarity with Git, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews, is required.

Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code is highly valued.

Good understanding of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito is beneficial.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are important.
