Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Backend/Platform Engineer, focusing on building and scaling cutting-edge AI agent platforms for enterprises. Develop and scale the backend infrastructure for enterprise AI agents and applications. Build backend services for agent creation, configuration, deployment, execution, and lifecycle management. Design and implement robust orchestration capabilities for asynchronous processing, routing, and error handling across multi-agent workflows.

Integrate LLMs, Agent SDKs (e.g., Google ADK, LangGraph), and other AI technologies through scalable platform APIs. Connect AI agents with enterprise applications, ensuring secure and versioned API integrations. Implement comprehensive production observability using tools like OpenTelemetry. Deploy and manage platform services on Kubernetes (GCP/GKE) with a focus on security, CI/CD, scalability, and reliability.

A strong backend or platform engineering background with 4–6 years of experience is essential. Proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade backend services with frameworks like FastAPI are required. A solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and scalable architectures is crucial.

Experience with cloud-native architectures on GCP/GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker is expected. Familiarity with CI/CD, authentication, security, and production reliability best practices is key. Hands-on experience with production observability tools like OpenTelemetry and a good grasp of databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, vector databases) are beneficial. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills are a must.
