Your role will involve assessing and securing telecom network components, including Core, RAN, Transport, IMS, and Edge networks. You will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, implementing robust security controls for 4G LTE, 5G, VoIP, IMS, and signaling protocols. Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and developing incident response procedures. You will investigate security events using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms, performing root cause analysis and recommending remediation. Support will be provided to Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and threat hunting. Ensuring compliance with GSMA, 3GPP, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements is key. Additionally, you will support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, developing security policies, standards, and operational procedures. Identifying and assessing cybersecurity risks, conducting security reviews for new deployments, and recommending mitigation strategies are also core duties. Securing cloud-native telecom applications, VNFs/CNFs, and implementing controls for Open RAN, MEC, SDN, and NFV environments will be critical. Evaluating 5G security architecture and coordinating with various stakeholders will be essential.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, telecommunications, or network security is required. A strong understanding of telecom network architecture and protocols, coupled with experience in security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools, is essential. Familiarity with TCP/IP, Diameter, SS7, SIP, GTP, DNS, and LTE/5G protocols is necessary. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with container technologies, is highly valued. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, GSMA Security Certifications, or CCSP. Expertise in 4G LTE and 5G Security, Telecom Core Network Security, Cloud Security, SIEM and Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Network Security Architecture, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, Incident Response and Forensics, and IAM and Zero Trust Security is expected.
