Key responsibilities include identifying automation opportunities for security controls, resolving vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure, and analyzing source code to mitigate weaknesses. You will also review automated testing results, prioritize actions to resolve issues based on risk, and conduct scans and manual testing of applications. Reducing risk through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions is paramount. Additionally, you will guide the development of secure solutions, contribute to the architectural vision for IT systems, and ensure system architecture adheres to corporate policies and IT best practices.

This role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks, and recommending compensating controls for non-compliant items. You will provide technical leadership in system design and translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions. Recommending appropriate infrastructure platforms and communication links to support IT goals is also a key function. You will influence architectural decisions and guide stakeholders through your communication and diplomacy skills.

We seek a professional with at least two years of experience securing cloud environments, particularly AWS and GCP. A strong understanding of cloud security architectures, such as the AWS Well-Architected Framework and Google Cloud Security Command Center, is essential. Knowledge of AWS and GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM) security models, along with in-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure like VPC, EC2, S3, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine, is required. Familiarity with compliance and risk frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and CSA STAR is necessary. Experience in business engagement for Information Security, Risk, or Program Management is advantageous, as is familiarity with Information Security Risk Governance and performing risk assessments.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience. Industry certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desired. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proven influencing and relationship management skills are crucial. Familiarity with IaC security tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, will set candidates apart.
