In this role, you will foster strong client and team relationships, consistently exceeding expectations. You will be instrumental in developing robust data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations.

This is an onsite role based in Mumbai.

Develop comprehensive data protection policies and procedures tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements.

Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks, creating effective mitigation strategies.

Monitor and evaluate data processing activities, ensuring strict compliance with data protection laws and internal company policies.

Provide expert guidance and support to clients on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and privacy impact assessments.

Design and implement security and privacy frameworks, including re-designing processes and privacy controls for clients.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance is essential.

In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, with a specific focus on India's Personal Data Protection Bill, is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are crucial for success in this role.

A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is necessary.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are expected, along with the capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred but not mandatory.
