As a Manager in our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong working relationships with both internal teams and clients, consistently striving to exceed expectations.
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with prevailing privacy laws and regulations. This includes conducting thorough assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks, and subsequently devising effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs.
Furthermore, you will monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure strict compliance with data protection laws and internal company policies. Your role will also involve providing expert guidance and support to clients on critical areas such as conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and privacy impact assessments. A key aspect of this position is designing and implementing robust security and privacy frameworks, including re-designing processes and establishing privacy controls to ensure the successful development of these frameworks for our clients.
We are seeking a Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. Professional certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred, though not mandatory.
A strong understanding of controlling functions like Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing is beneficial. Crucially, you must possess in-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, with a particular emphasis on the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a closely related field is required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
