Join Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP as a Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team in Chennai. This role focuses on data privacy and protection, helping organizations navigate the complex landscape of cyber risk.

As a Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships to consistently surpass expectations.

Key responsibilities include developing robust data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws. You will conduct assessments to pinpoint data privacy risks and devise effective mitigation strategies.

Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities for compliance, you will also provide expert guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and application privacy.

Furthermore, you will design and implement security and privacy frameworks, alongside re-engineering processes and controls to establish comprehensive privacy solutions for clients.

We are seeking a professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. While not mandatory, certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are advantageous.

An in-depth understanding of data protection laws and regulations, especially the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is crucial. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
