Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is seeking a dedicated professional for this role based in Hyderabad.

As a Consultant in our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong client relationships and deliver exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing robust data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations. - Conducting assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy risks and devising effective mitigation strategies. - Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities to ensure strict compliance with legal requirements and company standards. - Providing expert guidance and support to clients on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and privacy impact assessments. - Designing and implementing comprehensive security and privacy frameworks, including processes and controls.

To excel in this role, a minimum of 2 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance is essential. A strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, especially the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is crucial. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is key. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is required.

Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred.
