As a Cyber Team Consultant, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams to consistently surpass expectations. Your role involves developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with prevailing privacy laws and regulations.
You will conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy risks and devise effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs. Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities to ensure strict adherence to data protection laws and company policies will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will offer expert guidance and support to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, and privacy impact assessments, alongside designing and implementing security/privacy frameworks and controls.
This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred. A strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is essential.
Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field is required. The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial for success.
