Join Deloitte's Cybersecurity team as an Assistant Manager specializing in Oracle Database administration and Linux systems. This role is crucial in safeguarding our clients' digital assets by preventing cyberattacks and ensuring system resilience.

You will collaborate closely with client teams to understand their cyber risk landscape and implement robust security strategies. We focus on embedding cyber risk management early in strategy development for effective handling of information and technology risks.

Key responsibilities include configuring and administering Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c databases, along with planning and executing database upgrades. You will manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, perform extensive database patching, and leverage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM13c).

Further duties involve setting up and managing Data Guard, creating RMAN, OEM, and Shell scripts, and migrating databases across different operating systems. Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle GoldenGate for data replication is essential. You will also be responsible for operating system hardening, patching, and automation scripting with Shell or Python.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of combined experience in Oracle DBA and Linux system administration, including at least 6 years specifically on Oracle 12c/18c/19c database administration.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills. A Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Computer Science is required. Proficiency in automating tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or similar tools is expected, as is the ability to maintain backup and recovery solutions and conduct system audits to enforce security requirements.
