Key responsibilities include configuring and administering Oracle databases (12c, 18c, 19c) and managing upgrades to 21c. You will develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, and perform extensive database patching. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 13c), Data Guard setup, and RMAN is essential. You'll also be involved in migrating databases across operating systems and managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

Further duties encompass managing Oracle GoldenGate for replication, ensuring operating system hardening, and automating tasks with Shell or Python. This role also involves managing user access, installing and configuring RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and administering KVM virtualization. You'll handle system patching, STIG compliance, performance monitoring, incident response, and maintaining data integrity.

We are seeking a professional with over 3 years of combined experience in Oracle DBA and Linux system administration, specifically a minimum of 3 years in Oracle 12c/18c/19c Database Administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are paramount, coupled with excellent communication and documentation abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Computer Science, or a related field, is required.

Proficiency in automating tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, or similar configuration management tools is expected. You should be adept at maintaining backup and recovery solutions, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, and conducting system audits to enforce security requirements. Maintaining accurate configuration documentation is also a crucial part of this role.
