Join Deloitte's dynamic Cyber team as an Assistant Manager, focusing on Data Privacy. This position is based in Mumbai and is part of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP.

As an Assistant Manager in our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships to surpass expectations. You will develop comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments to identify potential data privacy threats, designing mitigation strategies, and monitoring data processing activities for compliance. You will also provide expert guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk management, data governance, and privacy impact assessments, as well as designing robust security/privacy frameworks and controls.

This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. While certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred, a strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, especially India's Personal Data Protection Bill, is essential.

Ideal candidates possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is required. The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this position.
