In this role, you will cultivate strong client relationships while developing comprehensive data protection policies aligned with current privacy laws. You will conduct thorough risk assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy vulnerabilities and devise effective mitigation strategies. Monitoring data processing activities for compliance with legal and company standards will be a key responsibility.

You will also offer expert guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk management, data governance, and privacy impact assessments. The position involves designing and implementing robust security and privacy frameworks, including re-engineering processes and controls to meet client needs.

We seek candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Prior certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred. A deep understanding of data protection laws, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is crucial for this role.
