This role focuses on Data Privacy, contributing to our mission of helping organizations prevent cyberattacks and protect valuable assets. In this role, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships, consistently aiming to exceed expectations. Develop robust data protection policies and procedures aligned with prevailing privacy laws and regulations. Conduct comprehensive assessments to pinpoint data privacy and protection risks, subsequently devising effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs.
Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure adherence to data protection legislation and internal company policies. Provide expert guidance and support to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, and establishing strong data governance and privacy controls. Design and implement security/privacy frameworks, alongside redesigning processes and privacy controls to ensure effective framework development for clients.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance is essential for this position. Possession of certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE is preferred. A solid understanding of data protection laws and regulations, with specific emphasis on the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are paramount. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a closely related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary, along with the capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
