Join Deloitte's Cyber team as an Incident Response & Handling Manager to bolster our capabilities across India. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of our incident management processes, aiming to minimize operational risks and prevent cyberattacks. You will be instrumental in maintaining security and resilience for our clients' valuable assets.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead and enhance the Incident Management process, ensuring predictable and transparent handling of all service-impacting events. You will coordinate and communicate effectively during outages, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to minimize customer impact.

Key duties include meticulous incident logging, coordinating resolution efforts, managing stakeholder communications, and overseeing the entire incident lifecycle. Following resolution, you will lead post-incident reviews and retrospectives to capture lessons learned, assign ownership for corrective actions, and drive systemic improvements through problem management initiatives.

Furthermore, this role actively identifies trends from incident data and operational metrics, transitioning recurring or high-impact issues into the Problem Management process. You will facilitate problem review forums, ensure root cause analysis is completed, and track corrective actions to successful resolution.

The ideal candidate possesses 8-15 years of experience in Incident Management or Major Incident Coordination, with a proven track record of managing high-severity incidents in complex production environments. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills are essential, enabling calm decision-making under pressure during critical incidents.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities are required, including experience producing clear incident communications, post-incident reports, and management summaries. You must effectively tailor communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills are crucial for assessing incomplete information, making sound judgments, and prioritizing actions in time-sensitive situations. A solid understanding of governance, risk, and compliance requirements is also necessary to operate effectively within established policies and regulatory frameworks.

Proficiency in digital forensics (Windows, Mac OS, Linux/Unix), a thorough understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK framework, and experience with SIEM tools (e.g., QRadar, Sentinel) and EDR tools (e.g., Crowdstrike, MS Defender) are mandatory. Experience with forensic toolsets like EnCase and FTK, advanced log analysis, network and host-based forensics, and malware analysis are also key requirements.
