Join our dynamic Cyber Defense and Response team as a Deputy Manager, focusing on SOC Governance and Data Engineering. You will be instrumental in enhancing the data, reporting, and analytics capabilities of our Security Operations Center (SOC). This pivotal role involves building and managing SOC data platforms, ensuring the integrity of ETL pipelines, and crafting insightful executive dashboards. You'll collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts to define and track critical operational metrics and KPIs, driving data-informed decision-making across the SOC.

Architect, build, and maintain a robust SOC data warehouse to support comprehensive operational reporting and analytics. Define and implement data models for critical security datasets, including incidents, alerts, threat intelligence, SIEM, and SOAR. Champion data quality, consistency, governance, and scalability across diverse security platforms. Establish rigorous data validation, reconciliation, and quality monitoring processes to ensure data integrity. Design, develop, and optimize efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from a wide array of cybersecurity tools. Seamlessly integrate data from SIEM, SOAR, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, CMDB, and other essential security platforms. Optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs for peak performance and unwavering reliability. Proactively monitor production pipelines and adeptly resolve any data processing issues that arise. Develop and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards tailored for SOC leadership and executive management. Empower cybersecurity stakeholders with self-service reporting capabilities. Create essential operational scorecards, KPI dashboards, SLA compliance reports, incident trend analyses, and executive summaries. Ensure the punctual and accurate delivery of all recurring reports. Partner with SOC leadership and cybersecurity domain owners to define and measure actionable operational KPIs. Establish standardized metric definitions and reporting methodologies to ensure clarity and consistency. Drive strong governance practices around security reporting and metric standardization. Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, enhancing efficiency. Collaborate effectively with cybersecurity teams, translating business reporting requirements into precise technical solutions. Present key insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives focused on enhancing SOC analytics and reporting capabilities.

Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses for operational reporting and analytics. Expertise in defining data models for security-related datasets such as incidents, alerts, threat intelligence, SIEM, and SOAR. Strong ability to ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and scalability across multiple security platforms. Proficiency in implementing data validation, reconciliation, and quality monitoring processes. Skilled in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from various cybersecurity tools. Experience integrating data from SIEM, SOAR, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, CMDB, and other security platforms. Demonstrated ability to optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs for performance and reliability. Experience monitoring production pipelines and resolving data processing issues. Proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards for leadership and executive management. Experience in building self-service reporting capabilities for stakeholders. Ability to create operational scorecards, KPI dashboards, SLA compliance reports, incident trend analysis, and executive summaries. Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of recurring reports. Strong collaboration skills with SOC leadership and cybersecurity domain owners to define measurable operational KPIs. Experience establishing standard metric definitions and reporting methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
