Your expertise will be instrumental in embedding cyber risk management into strategic development for effective information and technology risk management.

You will be responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of the IBM QRadar Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. This includes deploying, configuring, and optimizing QRadar for effective security monitoring, event correlation, and threat detection. Collaborating with security analysts, network engineers, and other IT teams is key to maintaining a robust security infrastructure. Responsibilities encompass installation and configuration of QRadar components, designing integrations for log collection, monitoring system health, performing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Further responsibilities include optimizing system performance, configuring rules and alerts for incident response, investigating security events, and developing incident response playbooks. You will also collaborate with various teams for seamless data source integration, integrate QRadar with other security tools, and provide technical guidance. Creating and maintaining technical documentation and conducting training sessions are also vital aspects of this role.

We are seeking individuals with proven experience as a QRadar Administrator, demonstrating hands-on expertise in implementing and managing QRadar SIEM. A strong understanding of network and system security principles, log management, event correlation, and threat detection is essential. Proficiency in QRadar deployment, configuration, and administration, including rule creation and report customization, is required.

Familiarity with diverse network and security technologies, protocols, and tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and antivirus is necessary. Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell, along with programming concepts, would be advantageous. Educational qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech (Tier 1/2) or a Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Associate Administrator - QRadar SIEM V7.3.x or higher, are desirable.
