Join Deloitte's Cyber team as an Assistant Manager in SOC Operations. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding organizations from cyber threats, ensuring resilience, and enabling new opportunities through robust cyber risk management. This position is based in Mumbai, India.

Investigate and analyze security alerts from SOC L1 using advanced platforms like SIEM, EDR, and XDR. You will validate true positives, eliminate false positives, and classify incidents by severity. Responsibilities include executing containment, eradication, and recovery activities, escalating complex issues, and analyzing indicators of compromise (IOCs). Correlate events across various security technologies to detect sophisticated attacks and identify malicious behavior using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain. Perform in-depth endpoint investigations and analyze threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and insider threats.

This role requires 4-6 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) functions. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is necessary. Proficiency in SIEM technologies (QRadar, Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle), EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender), and SOAR platforms is essential. Experience with Windows and Linux security, Active Directory, Network Security, Firewalls, DNS, and Proxy is required. Relevant OEM certifications are also a plus.
