Spearhead SIEM transformation initiatives, migrating from legacy platforms to next-generation solutions like Google SecOps and Microsoft Sentinel. Define migration strategies, operating models, and roadmaps, overseeing telemetry assessment, onboarding, and optimization.
Establish governance frameworks, manage multiple concurrent engagements, and lead a team of SOC analysts and incident responders. Drive security operations, managed detection & response (MDR) services, and establish cloud-native SOC capabilities.
Develop advanced detection content, threat use cases, and implement automated playbooks. Integrate security platforms and enhance response times (MTTD/MTTR) through automation.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Business Management being preferred. You should possess 13+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in SOC management or a similar leadership role.
Experience in an MSSP environment or managing security operations for multiple clients is advantageous. A strong background with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, threat intelligence, and incident response is essential.
Demonstrated success in leading teams within a 24/7 SOC environment is key. Familiarity with Google SecOps, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM/XDR, SIEM modernization, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework is expected.
