Conduct proactive, hypothesis-driven threat hunting to uncover malicious activities missed by traditional security systems. Leverage diverse threat intelligence platforms to identify potential threats and understand adversary tactics. Develop sophisticated hypotheses to guide threat hunts, pinpoint misconfigurations, and refine prevention and detection strategies. Analyze logs, system, and user behavior within SIEM environments to detect anomalies and emerging threats. Formulate clear threat advisories to recommend effective mitigation strategies for identified risks. Deeply understand the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed by threat actors and APT groups targeting client organizations. Analyze emerging threats and threat intelligence data to proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with client Red Teams, IT, and CSIRT teams during threat hunting activities and provide feedback for developing effective SOC use cases. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and fortnightly threat intelligence advisories, including classifications and strategic insights. Deliver comprehensive monthly reports, dashboards, and presentations detailing threat advisories, findings, hunting activities, and actionable use cases.

Requires 6-10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on threat hunting and analysis. Proficiency in performing advanced threat analysis and identifying Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), ideally aligning with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Experience in developing and fine-tuning detection use cases, custom rules, and analytics for identifying malicious behaviors. Ability to collaborate effectively with SOC, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response (IR), and Red Team functions to enhance overall detection capabilities. Skilled in analyzing threat actor campaigns and exploit techniques to assess potential impact and recommend mitigation strategies. Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis of security incidents and provide actionable preventive measures. Excellent communication skills to prepare and present threat hunting reports and executive summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences. Commitment to continuously improving threat hunting processes through automation and data enrichment. Dedication to staying abreast of the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and threat actor trends. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related field. This is an onsite role, requiring full-time presence in the Mumbai office.
