Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and events from sources like QRadar SIEM, performing initial triage and classification of incidents, and investigating alerts to identify potential security breaches. You'll escalate confirmed incidents, document all incident details and actions in the management system, and assist in threat containment and mitigation. Additionally, leverage threat intelligence to improve detection, generate security reports, and participate in post-incident reviews to refine SOC processes. Staying current with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities is crucial. A willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model, including nights, is mandatory.

This role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in Cyber Security. Proven expertise in security domains such as Endpoint, Network, Database, and Cloud Security technologies (IPS, WAF, Firewall, Deception, AV, EDR) is essential. Candidates must be adept at senior-level log analysis, proactive monitoring, and incident response for network and security events. Experience implementing and maintaining security policies, especially within AWS cloud environments, is expected. Proficiency with tools like Cortex, Shodan, and QRadar for threat hunting and research, along with identifying Indicators of Compromise through malware analysis, is key. Familiarity with Demisto/XSOAR, Qualys, and the MITRE Framework is required. A B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a Tier 1/2 institution is necessary, along with certifications like CISSP, CEH, or CISM. Candidates must be willing to work from the Nagpur location.
