This role involves developing and maintaining automated playbooks within SOAR platforms, crucial for streamlining incident response workflows and optimizing security operations.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive SIEM Content Management Specialist, responsible for designing and implementing custom SIEM content to bolster threat detection and security monitoring capabilities.

Develop, maintain, and enhance automated playbooks in SOAR platforms to streamline incident response workflows. Design, implement, and manage custom SIEM content for effective security monitoring and threat detection. Optimize the SIEM system for efficient detection, analysis, and response to security threats. Collaborate with security analysts to automate and orchestrate the detection, triage, investigation, and remediation of security incidents. Integrate playbooks with various security tools like SIEMs, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms.

1-4 years of experience in developing and optimizing automation playbooks within SOAR platforms, preferably Palo Alto XSOAR/XSIAM. Possess a deep understanding of security concepts including incident response, threat intelligence, network security, and vulnerability management. Proficiency in utilizing SOAR platforms for automating security processes and response activities. Experience with scripting and automation languages like Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for playbook development. A Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Ability to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and continuously optimize automation processes is essential.
