You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our security operations by developing and optimizing automated playbooks. Key responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated playbooks within SOAR platforms to streamline incident response. You will design, implement, and manage custom SIEM content to bolster threat detection capabilities. Ensuring the SIEM system is optimized for effective and efficient detection, analysis, and response to security threats is paramount.

Collaborate closely with security analysts and incident responders to orchestrate detection, triage, investigation, and remediation. Integrate playbooks with various security tools like SIEMs, firewalls, and endpoint protection. Test and troubleshoot playbooks, documenting workflows and integrations for maintainability.

We are seeking candidates with 1-4 years of experience in developing and optimizing automation playbooks within SOAR platforms, with a preference for Palo Alto XSOAR/XSIAM. A deep understanding of security concepts such as incident response, threat intelligence, network security, and vulnerability management is essential.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell is required for building playbooks and integrations. Experience with Cortex XSOAR or other security orchestration platforms is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously optimize automation processes.

An education background including a Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is expected. This role requires a proactive approach to security and a strong technical aptitude.
