Join Deloitte as an Associate Director for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) in Hyderabad. This role is pivotal in leading enterprise-wide SIEM transformation and migration programs, moving organizations from legacy platforms to cutting-edge Next Generation SIEM solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping how organizations prevent cyberattacks and manage cyber risks effectively.

Lead SIEM transformation initiatives, migrating clients from platforms like Splunk and QRadar to advanced solutions such as Google SecOps and Microsoft Sentinel. Define migration strategies, operating models, and roadmaps. Oversee the assessment, onboarding, and optimization of security telemetry. Drive end-to-end implementation of next-generation SIEM platforms and establish robust governance frameworks. Manage concurrent engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Further responsibilities include managing SOC analysts and incident responders, leading security operations and MDR services, and establishing cloud-native SOC capabilities. You will also drive detection engineering, threat hunting, and security automation initiatives, improving Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) through innovative solutions.
We are seeking an experienced professional with 13+ years in cybersecurity, including at least 5 years in SOC management or a leadership role. A strong background in SIEM tools, EDR, IDS/IPS, threat intelligence, and incident response is essential. Proven experience leading teams in a 24/7 SOC environment is required. Mandatory experience in at least two areas, such as Google SecOps, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM/XDR, SIEM migration, SOC transformation, detection engineering, security automation, or incident response, is necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Business Management is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Security Operations Engineer, Palo Alto Networks Certified XSIAM Analyst/Engineer, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued.
