Join Deloitte's Cyber team as an Assistant Manager specializing in Application & API VAPT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to prevent cyberattacks and protect valuable assets by embedding security into the core of our clients' strategies. You will manage client engagements, lead security initiatives, and contribute to building resilient systems in an ever-evolving threat landscape.

Lead comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) engagements across web, APIs, mobile, cloud-hosted, and microservices architectures. Execute advanced manual testing techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities beyond automated findings. Conduct threat modeling, perform secure architecture reviews, and assess cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container security. Additionally, you will manage a team of VAPT consultants, ensure high-quality deliverables, mentor junior members, and drive remediation discussions with development teams.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with 4-7 years of hands-on penetration testing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity. A strong technical foundation in offensive security, application penetration testing, API security, and vulnerability management is essential. Candidates must possess excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required. Preferred certifications include OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, or CISSP.
