This role offers the chance to drive impactful data privacy and protection initiatives across diverse industries, including BFSI, Technology, and Healthcare. You will be instrumental in shaping robust privacy programs aligned with global regulatory standards.
Lead and manage data privacy engagements, designing and assessing privacy programs against regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and India's DPDP Act.
Conduct critical assessments such as PIAs and DPIAs, providing expert advisory on data transfer, consent, and lawful processing. Develop tailored privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Advise on embedding privacy-by-design principles throughout system and product lifecycles. Collaborate with cybersecurity and legal teams to create integrated data protection strategies.
Lead client workshops and training sessions, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to practice growth and thought leadership.
A seasoned professional with 5-10 years of experience in data privacy, protection, or cybersecurity advisory is essential.
Possess a deep understanding of privacy laws (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA) and frameworks (ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework). Proven experience in conducting PIAs, gap assessments, and developing remediation plans.
Familiarity with data discovery tools and privacy tech solutions is advantageous. Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or DPO are preferred.
Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, project leadership, and communication skills, with a strong track record in client delivery and team management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, IT, or a related field, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities, is required. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is key.
