Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients, consistently aiming to surpass client expectations. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations.

You will conduct thorough assessments to identify potential data privacy risks and devise effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs. Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities will be crucial to ensure adherence to data protection laws and company policies. Furthermore, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients on critical areas such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application privacy, and privacy impact assessments. The role also involves designing and implementing robust security and privacy frameworks, redesigning processes, and establishing privacy controls to ensure comprehensive framework development for our clients.

Qualifications

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. While preferred, certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are advantageous. A deep understanding of data protection laws and regulations, with a specific focus on India's Personal Data Protection Bill, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are a must.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, information technology, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effective client and team collaboration. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is key to success in this position.
