Job description

Join Deloitte's Cyber team as a Deputy Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding organizations from cyber threats and protecting their critical assets. This role emphasizes a proactive approach to cyber risk management, allowing businesses to seize new opportunities.

Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team, you will foster strong client relationships and consistently exceed expectations. Your role involves developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations.

You will conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy risks, devising effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of data processing activities will ensure adherence to data protection laws and company policies.

Furthermore, you will provide expert guidance to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, and data governance. You'll also be instrumental in designing and implementing robust security and privacy frameworks, including redesigning processes and privacy controls to ensure their development.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance is essential. While not mandatory, certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are highly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, with a specific focus on India's Personal Data Protection Bill, is crucial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are key to success.

A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is required. The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment is also necessary.
