This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional results. You'll play a key part in enhancing our clients' security posture and managing information and technology risks effectively, fostering opportunities for growth and innovation.
As a Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and operating a suite of data protection tools, including DLP, Data Discovery & Classification, DAM, and DRM solutions. Your duties will include monitoring security alerts, investigating potential data leaks and unauthorized access, and performing incident triage, analysis, and resolution.
You will also configure and fine-tune security policies to enhance detection accuracy and minimize false positives. Supporting data discovery and classification initiatives to identify sensitive data, monitoring database activities for suspicious actions, and generating audit logs are integral parts of this role. Maintaining and enforcing data protection policies, controls, and SOPs, alongside generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders, will also be key.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, coupled with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in data protection tools. Essential technical skills include proficiency with DLP tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint), Data Discovery & Classification tools, Database Activity Monitoring (e.g., Guardium, Imperva), and DRM/Information Protection solutions.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the data protection lifecycle and security controls, along with knowledge of sensitive data types and regulatory requirements such as DPDPA and ISO 27001. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with keen attention to detail, is highly valued.
