Join Deloitte's Cyber team as an Assistant Manager, focusing on Data Privacy. You will be instrumental in helping organizations fortify their defenses against cyber threats and safeguard critical assets. This role emphasizes a proactive approach to cybersecurity, embedding risk management into strategic development for effective information and technology risk oversight.

In this Assistant Manager role within our Cyber Team, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients, consistently striving to exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will include developing robust data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws and regulations.

You will also conduct assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy risks and devise effective mitigation strategies. Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies will be key. Providing expert guidance to clients on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and privacy impact assessments is also crucial. Furthermore, you will design and implement security/privacy frameworks, along with redesigning processes and privacy controls.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance. While certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred, a strong foundation is essential. Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, especially the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are required, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is necessary. The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is highly valued.
