Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager within our Cyber Team, you will be instrumental in developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures aligned with prevailing privacy laws and regulations for our clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments to pinpoint potential data privacy and protection risks, subsequently devising effective mitigation strategies tailored to client needs.

You will also monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure strict adherence to data protection laws and internal company policies, as specified by client requirements. Furthermore, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients in areas such as conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application security, and privacy impact assessments. A key part of your role will involve designing and implementing robust security and privacy frameworks, along with redesigning processes and privacy controls to ensure the successful development of these frameworks for clients.

Qualifications

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in data protection or privacy compliance. Professional certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are highly preferred. A deep understanding of data protection laws and regulations, with a particular focus on the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are a must for navigating complex privacy challenges. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a closely related field is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
