Join our dynamic team as a Senior Scrum Master, a pivotal role driving the success of complex technology initiatives. You will serve as a servant leader, Agile coach, and facilitator, ensuring the seamless implementation of Scrum principles and Agile best practices across multiple delivery teams. This position requires a seasoned professional adept at collaborating with Product Owners, Engineering teams, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with our strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in Agile delivery management, facilitates Scrum ceremonies effectively, proactively removes impediments, drives continuous improvement, and coordinates releases across diverse teams. Essential to success are strong stakeholder management, exceptional communication, and impactful leadership skills, all contributing to the timely and quality delivery of business outcomes.

Spearhead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and Release Planning. Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, the Scrum framework, and continuous improvement methodologies. Guide teams to achieve sprint goals and maintain consistent delivery velocity. Proactively identify, track, and resolve impediments hindering team productivity or project success. Cultivate an environment of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and ongoing learning. Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring clear user story definition and acceptance criteria.

Monitor key Agile metrics like velocity, sprint burndown/burnup, cycle time, and throughput. Facilitate dependency management across multiple Agile teams, ensuring alignment on shared deliverables. Lead release planning and coordination efforts, ensuring adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). Drive risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with Agile governance, SDLC standards, and organizational policies. Support program leadership with comprehensive status reporting, roadmap planning, and stakeholder communications. Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, Infrastructure, QA, Security, and Operations.

Promote Agile maturity through dedicated coaching, mentoring, and training. Facilitate effective decision-making and conflict resolution within teams and stakeholder groups. Support organizational change initiatives related to Agile transformations and delivery enhancements. Maintain robust relationships with internal customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure the achievement of delivery objectives.

A minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT, software delivery, or related business domains is required. Candidates must possess at least three (3) years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master within Agile environments. Furthermore, a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing technology projects utilizing Agile and/or SDLC methodologies is essential. Proficiency in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile delivery metrics is a must.

Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional technology teams in enterprise settings is expected. The ability to manage dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations across multiple teams is crucial. A strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is required, complemented by excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills. Experience coordinating software releases and ensuring adherence to Definition of Done and release governance standards is also necessary. An additional three (3) years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
