Lead the backend development of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, particularly AEM as a Cloud Service, utilizing best practices in Sling, OSGi, and JCR. Design and implement custom AEM components, services, OSGi bundles, schedulers, and servlets, ensuring seamless integration with external systems via REST APIs and other patterns. Spearhead the development and optimization of AEM Assets capabilities, including metadata schemas, asset ingestion, workflows, and governance. Manage and maintain AEM workflows for asset processing, approvals, and metadata enrichment. Take ownership of performance tuning and troubleshooting, focusing on caching strategies, dispatcher configurations, and repository optimization. Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes, adhering to code quality gates and release standards. Champion engineering excellence through clean code, SOLID principles, rigorous code reviews, and comprehensive testing. Collaborate effectively with product owners, frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps specialists, and security teams, contributing to solution design and estimations. Mentor junior consultants, establish coding standards, and foster knowledge sharing within the team.

A minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 7 years dedicated to hands-on backend development within Adobe Experience Manager. Demonstrated strong expertise in Java (Java 8/11+), backend design patterns, and robust API design. Proficiency in AEM core concepts, including Sling Models, OSGi services, JCR, and permissions/ACLs. Solid experience with AEM as a Cloud Service fundamentals, such as immutable deployments, Cloud Manager, log analysis, and cloud-specific constraints. Familiarity with headless AEM patterns, including Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, and SPA integrations. Comprehensive working knowledge of AEM Assets and its associated tools like metadata management and workflow automation. Experience with Dispatcher/CDN caching, cache invalidation techniques, and troubleshooting performance issues. Comfort and proficiency with Git, Maven, CI/CD practices, and collaborative DevOps environments. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with globally distributed teams.
