Join our Customer Technology team as an AEM Backend Consultant, driving innovation and growth through cutting-edge solutions. This role focuses on developing and supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service, requiring a strong background in Java and AEM backend development.

Develop and maintain AEM backend features leveraging Sling, OSGi, and core AEM principles.

Support AEM Assets capabilities, including metadata management, workflow automation, and asset ingestion.

Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integrations with external systems.

Assist in deployment readiness and provide support for AEM Cloud releases via Cloud Manager.

Write comprehensive unit tests, participate in code reviews, and resolve defects identified during testing phases.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues related to performance, dependencies, and environment configurations.

Contribute to essential technical documentation, including specifications and operational guides.

We are seeking a professional with 3–6 years of overall experience, including 2–4 years specifically in AEM backend development. A solid understanding of Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and backend concepts is essential.

Proficiency in Sling, OSGi, JCR, and AEM permissions is required. Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service deployment concepts and constraints is also necessary.

Basic experience with AEM Assets, Content Fragments, and Headless Delivery is expected. Knowledge of Git, Maven, and build pipelines, along with testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, will be advantageous. The ability to write maintainable unit tests is crucial.
