Join our dynamic team as a Manager specializing in Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM). This pivotal role involves leading client engagements within the Commodities and Energy sectors, providing expert advisory, technology solutions, and driving transformation initiatives. You will be instrumental in shaping strategies for trading, risk, and regulatory compliance.

This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a client-facing role, contributing to the success of major transformation programs and client initiatives. You will work with leading CTRM/ETRM platforms and advise on complex trading and risk challenges.

Lead comprehensive CTRM transformation and implementation projects, including system selection, design, and deployment. Advise clients on front-to-back trading lifecycle processes, from trade capture to settlements and accounting. Develop target operating models for trading and risk functions, ensuring robust project governance, quality delivery, and financial oversight.

Provide in-depth expertise in market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk within commodity trading. Design and implement sophisticated risk frameworks, including VaR, stress testing, and hedging strategies. Support clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, REMIT, and MiFID II.

Drive technology and systems integration, collaborating on CTRM/ETRM solutions and their connection with ERP, market data, and analytics platforms. Spearhead data strategy and analytics initiatives for real-time risk reporting and dashboards. Foster innovation through system enhancements and digital transformation efforts.

Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposal development. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. You will also play a key role in talent development within our CTRM practice.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. We are seeking candidates with 7-10 years of progressive experience in commodities trading, risk management, or CTRM consulting. A strong background in one or more commodities such as Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Metals, or Agricultural commodities is essential.

Demonstrated success with CTRM/ETRM platforms like Endur/Openlink, Allegro, Eka, or Aspect is a must. You should possess a deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, risk analytics, and PnL attribution. Prior experience in consulting environments or with global firms is highly valued.

Key attributes include strong domain expertise in commodity markets and derivatives, exceptional leadership capabilities, and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent executive-level communication and presentation abilities, coupled with commercial acumen for identifying revenue growth opportunities, are crucial. Familiarity with data, cloud, and advanced analytics trends in trading environments is also expected.
