We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester with a strong background in Asset Management and Middle Office, specifically with hands-on experience in the TCS Bancs application.

As a Functional Tester, you will execute testing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment and contributing to team success. Your responsibilities include performing functional testing for Asset Management and Middle Office modules within TCS Bancs, validating trade processing, testing portfolio valuations, and verifying lifecycle events for various instruments. You will also conduct reconciliation testing, validate collateral management, and collaborate with business analysts and developers. Documenting test results, raising defects, and tracking their resolution are key aspects of this role, alongside ensuring work quality and meeting performance objectives. You will also participate in requirement gathering, prepare test scenarios and scripts, and report defects within the STLC process. Active participation in status calls, Scrum meetings, and client interactions is expected, along with training new resources.

The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of testing experience in Banking & Wealth Management platforms, with mandatory experience in the TCS Bancs application. Strong knowledge of Asset Management and Middle Office functional modules is essential, including expertise in trade processing, valuations, corporate actions, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and collateral management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and documentation abilities, are required. A Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/BCA/M.Sc.) is necessary. Basic experience with test automation tools like Selenium, UFT, or Protractor is also required. Flexibility in working any shifts or ODC environments and the ability to work in an Agile setting are essential attributes for success in this role.
