EY's Tech Consulting division seeks a Manager specializing in Insurance Techno-functional Testing. This role is crucial for driving testing strategies and ensuring high-quality software delivery within the insurance sector. As a Techno-Functional Testing Manager, you will own the creation of comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and precise test scenarios and scripts aligned with project requirements. You will be responsible for executing functional and regression test cases, diligently reporting defects in tracking tools, and overseeing their resolution throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Active participation in review and walkthrough meetings is essential.

Key duties include understanding Guidewire modules (Policy, Claims, Billing) and insurance domain specifics, with experience in cloud implementations. You will also be involved in preparing test strategies, executing test cases, maintaining bug reports, and participating in various testing phases like Sanity, Smoke, Regression, System, and User Acceptance Testing. Attending status calls to report on testing progress is also a requirement.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (BE/B.Tech/M.Sc) or a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) is required. Candidates need a minimum of 14 years of extensive testing experience within the Guidewire ecosystem (Policy-Claims-Billing centre) and the insurance domain, preferably in Agile environments. A strong track record of at least 3 years in Project Management, overseeing both automation and manual testing programs, is essential.

Proficiency in Agile SCRUM Methodology is a must. Experience with ETL, data conversion, and rating processes is highly valued. You should possess a clear understanding of Guidewire cloud upgrade and greenfield implementations, including familiarity with GW CAA standards and audit processes. Candidates with experience in automation and/or AI testing are strongly encouraged to apply. Basic coding knowledge to understand automation projects and facilitate issue resolution is beneficial. Exposure to performance testing of Guidewire projects on-premise or cloud using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is also desirable.
