Responsibilities include performing hands-on automation testing for web applications using Selenium WebDriver. You will develop test cases using Java and an IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ. A crucial aspect of this role involves integrating into a larger scrum team, actively participating in scrum ceremonies, and contributing as an individual.

Effective communication skills are essential, enabling you to articulate issues and concerns clearly with business stakeholders and the development team. You will utilize tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Postman for API testing, Bitbucket, and Confluence to manage testing processes and documentation.

Candidates should possess 4 to 6 years of experience as a test engineer. A solid understanding of Java, including loops and function writing, is required for developing Selenium test cases. Experience working within a scrum framework and participating in scrum ceremonies is necessary.

While functional and manual testing experience is valuable, demonstrated automation experience is key. Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Postman, Bitbucket, and Confluence is expected. Working knowledge of Playwright is highly preferred and considered a significant asset. Exposure to GenAI tools like Copilots, LLMs, and related ecosystems, along with Python working knowledge, is also preferred.
