NTT DATA seeks a highly skilled Testing Engineering Senior Specialist to drive API modernization and microservices transformation initiatives within the healthcare sector. This customer-facing leadership role focuses on architecting and implementing robust quality engineering strategies.

Your expertise will be crucial in defining the end-to-end API testing architecture, ensuring seamless validation of enterprise services transitioning from legacy platforms to modern RESTful APIs and microservices. You will collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to guarantee services meet stringent functional, integration, data integrity, performance, and security requirements.

As an API Test Architect and Solution Lead, you will define the enterprise API Quality Engineering architecture, strategy, and roadmap. You will design scalable automation frameworks, establish standardized testing approaches using tools like Cucumber and REST Assured, and build reusable automation components. Your role involves leading testing strategies for legacy-to-modern service migration, defining parity testing, and validating microservice interactions. You will also define comprehensive API testing coverage including functional, integration, contract, and regression testing, while ensuring critical healthcare business rules and data integrity are validated.

This senior specialist role requires a minimum of 13 years in Quality Engineering, with a strong focus on API testing and automation (7+ years). A minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership capacity, such as Test Architect or Solution Architect, is essential. Deep knowledge of API & Microservices (REST, JSON, XML, GraphQL), API Automation (REST Assured, Cucumber, TestNG, Java, Gradle), Framework Architecture, and DevOps (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD) is required. A solid understanding of healthcare enterprise systems and experience with related services is also critical. Experience with AI-Assisted Engineering tools like GitHub Copilot is a significant advantage.
