Join our team as a Test Automation Engineer, contributing to the verification and validation of PET-CT medical imaging systems. This role is pivotal in enhancing test efficiency, accuracy, and coverage through automation-driven methodologies across software, hardware, electronics, and system integration.
Your work will directly impact the quality of existing products and components, ensuring adherence to stringent system requirements and regulatory standards. You'll operate within Agile environments, executing defined tasks and adapting to evolving work situations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
This is a full-time, onsite position with a standard five-day workweek. Collaboration will extend across global programs, potentially requiring flexible or extended work hours. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
Plan and implement comprehensive verification and validation strategies for PET-CT systems at both system and subsystem levels.
Execute manual and automated testing to validate products, ensuring they meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based automation frameworks for scalable testing solutions.
Utilize Selenium and Playwright for automation testing to guarantee the release of high-quality products.
Develop and manage Docker-based test environments, ensuring reproducible and efficient test execution.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging within Linux environments to confirm system reliability.
Analyze system failures, perform detailed troubleshooting, and provide comprehensive defect and root cause analysis reports.
Determine optimal test environments, tools, and automation strategies aligned with product specifications.
Collaborate closely with development, system, automation framework teams, and global counterparts to ensure holistic product quality.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Execute verification and validation activities in laboratory and system settings, enhancing product quality and integration.
Support the development of essential test infrastructure, instrumentation, and validation tools.
Cultivate a deep understanding of system behavior to drive improvements in testing efficiency and overall product quality.
A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline is required.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the verification and validation of healthcare or medical device products.
Demonstrate strong expertise in Python programming and the development of automation frameworks.
Exhibit hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
Have practical experience using Docker for containerized test environments.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Showcase domain expertise within the Healthcare / Medical Devices sector.
Possess a good understanding of Software QA processes and Agile methodologies.
Exhibit strong documentation skills for test design, scripts, and traceability of requirements.
Maintain a quality-focused mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective documentation, planning, marketing, and program execution.
