This role drives the end-to-end quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation to enhance control, accuracy, and integrity. The core focus is on designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery, building robust frameworks with Playwright and Selenium using Java.

Candidates will validate application functionality through rigorous testing practices, contribute to automation strategy, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Utilizing Agile methodologies and modern tools, the position aims to deliver reliable and scalable solutions, working independently to manage tasks comprehensively.

Take ownership as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to achieve performance goals. Be responsible for key team decisions and engage with multiple teams to contribute to critical choices. Provide effective solutions for immediate team challenges and extend them across multiple teams. Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure product objectives align with business goals. Mentor and support junior team members to foster their professional development and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and product quality.

A strong foundation in automation with Playwright is essential, complemented by good automation knowledge in Selenium with Java. Possess a solid understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing, alongside good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes. Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks is required, along with familiarity with defect lifecycle and management tools. Experience working within an Agile methodology is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage tasks end-to-end, with strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of AI tools like Copilot for improving testing efficiency is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in Playwright is mandatory, supported by 15 years of full-time education.
