As a Custom Software Engineer, your daily activities will involve designing, developing, and deploying automated test solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. The position requires a strong focus on building resilient test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium with Java, alongside validating application functionality through rigorous testing practices.

As a key contributor, you will be expected to become a subject matter expert, actively collaborating with and guiding your team. You will influence team decisions and engage with multiple stakeholders to contribute to critical decision-making processes.

This role involves providing effective solutions to immediate team challenges and extending that support across multiple teams. A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically with Playwright is essential for this position. Candidates must possess a strong command of automation principles in Playwright and Selenium with Java, coupled with a deep understanding of software testing concepts such as functional, regression, and integration testing. Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes is also crucial.

Experience in designing and developing robust automation frameworks, along with knowledge of defect lifecycle and management tools, is required. Experience working within Agile methodologies and the ability to manage tasks end-to-end independently are key. Proficiency in debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving is highly valued. Familiarity with tools like ALM Octane and the use of AI tools for efficiency are considered advantageous.
