As a TechOps SAP FICO Senior Consultant within Global Delivery Services, you will provide critical functional support and application maintenance for SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. This role is integral to maintaining system stability, optimizing business processes, and delivering exceptional support to global clients.

This position involves collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. You'll be instrumental in managing incidents, driving enhancements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within complex SAP environments. Spearhead decision-making and process optimization within the SAP FICO domain. Manage resources effectively and oversee team execution to ensure successful task completion and adherence to organizational goals. Allocate personnel, supervise team members, and assign tasks, ensuring they have the necessary support and tools. Optimize and evaluate team performance to achieve business objectives.

Analyze business requirements for change requests and enhancements, evaluating solution options. Support configuration and enhancement activities within SAP FI/CO, participating in design discussions and process improvements. Handle change requests, coordinating with technical teams for development, and validate solutions through comprehensive testing and deployment support.

Essential expertise includes deep knowledge of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Closing) and SAP CO modules (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Product Costing, COPA, Overhead Assessment, Internal Orders, Project Systems). Strong integration knowledge across SAP MM, SD, PP, PM, and HR is crucial. Proficiency in Functional Specifications, Defect Analysis, Incident Management, Testing & Validation, SAP S/4HANA Finance, and Interface Troubleshooting (IDocs) is required.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is necessary, coupled with 8-10 years of SAP FICO experience. Experience in Application Management Services (AMS), Production Support, and Global Delivery SAP S/4HANA Finance is vital. Prior experience working within global delivery or offshore-onshore models is also a key requirement for this role.
