The SAP EP (Enterprise Portal) Senior Consultant role is pivotal for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Enterprise Portal solutions within SAP NetWeaver environments. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing SAP Enterprise Portal architectures, configuring portal content (iViews, pages, roles, worksets), and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) and user authentication. Develop and customize portal components using Java technologies, troubleshoot portal issues, and provide production support. Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) administration and development, typically possessing 8 to 10+ years of relevant SAP experience.

Essential technical proficiencies include hands-on expertise in SAP NetWeaver Portal Administration, with deep understanding of Portal Content Directory (PCD), Knowledge Management (KM), and Collaboration functionalities. You should be adept at SSO configuration (SAP Logon Tickets, SAML), Java/J2EE development, and Web Dynpro Java development and troubleshooting. Experience with portal security, roles, authorization, user administration, SAP system integrations, and web services is critical.

Preferred qualifications include SAP Basis knowledge, experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad integration and EP to Fiori migration, exposure to SAP Cloud solutions, and familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with SAP certifications in NetWeaver/Portal technologies being advantageous. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the capacity to work independently are highly valued.
