Join NTT DATA as a TechOps Engineer, contributing to our Digital Science and Automated Solutions (DSAS) team. This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud-hosted products and customer environments. You will play a crucial part in designing, operating, and automating AWS infrastructure, ensuring compliance and supporting critical business processes.

Key responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS infrastructure as code with a focus on performance and scalability. You will manage containerized environments (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes), monitor cloud infrastructure, and actively participate in incident response and service recovery. Automating deployment, backup, and disaster recovery processes are essential, as is ensuring data protection through robust security controls. Collaboration with engineering, product, and quality teams is vital for improving service reliability and operational readiness.

Additional duties involve implementing and maintaining security controls, utilizing vulnerability assessment tools, and adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. You will apply FinOps practices for cost optimization within AWS environments and identify opportunities for automating operational tasks. This role also includes planning scheduled maintenance, infrastructure changes, and product upgrades, along with maintaining operational processes and documentation.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or SRE. Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code is essential, alongside proficiency in supporting Linux/Windows systems, production applications, and cloud networking. Familiarity with containers and orchestration technologies like EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes is necessary.

Candidates should possess experience in monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, security controls, and backup/disaster recovery practices. The ability to work within documented procedures and maintain accurate records in a quality-managed environment is crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required for effective documentation and cross-team collaboration. Experience supporting cloud-hosted products in regulated industries or with QMS practices is a plus.
