Join NTT DATA as a TechOps Engineer and contribute to the Digital Science and Automated Solutions (DSAS) team. This role is crucial for ensuring the security, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of our cloud-hosted products and customer environments. You will design and operate AWS infrastructure, automate operational tasks, and support critical incident response.

Key responsibilities include designing and deploying AWS infrastructure as code, managing containerized environments like Amazon EKS and ECS, and monitoring cloud infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and applications. You will actively participate in incident response, troubleshoot issues, and restore services. Developing and automating secure deployment practices, backup, and disaster recovery procedures is essential. Protecting data through encryption and access controls, and implementing security controls are also vital.

Furthermore, you will engage in QMS activities, apply FinOps practices for AWS cost management, and identify opportunities for operational task automation. Planning and executing scheduled maintenance, infrastructure changes, and product upgrades are part of the role. Maintaining operational processes, runbooks, and system records, along with collaborating with engineering and security teams to enhance service reliability, are also expected.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or SRE. Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code is required, along with experience supporting Linux/Windows systems, production applications, and cloud networking. Familiarity with container technologies like EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes, and experience in monitoring, incident response, and security practices are necessary.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work within documented procedures and maintain accurate records in a quality-managed environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for documenting technical procedures and collaborating effectively across teams. Preferred qualifications include experience in regulated industries, QMS practices, AWS cost management, and automation/scripting.
